Do natural dewormers work?

I would like to share with you this very interesting article about worm control, herbally as well as conventionally.

I strongly believe herbal worm control can be an effective way to manage worm counts, but if worm counts do get to high, then using a ‘chemical’ wormer is an effective way to quickly reduce the worm egg count and reduce the risks associated with heavy worm burdens.

The increasing resistance of worms to current dewormers is a worrying trend, so if we can find herbs useful in the management of worm burdens either by making the gut environment uninviting to worms, killing them directly or breaking their life cycle outside the horse’s body as mentioned in this article, then we can do much to reduce the incidence of resistance to common wormers.
